Dwayne Douglas
Dwayne Douglas Johnson, more popularly well-known as The Rock was born May 2, 1972, in Hayward, California. Ata Johnson (born FeagaimaleataFITISeMANU Maivia) along with Rocky Johnson (born Wayde Bowles) are his parents. His fatheris from Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada is white (of Black Nova Scotian descent) His mother is from a Samoan background (her own father was Peter Fanene Maivia, also an experienced wrestler). Dwayne was a child who traveled often and spending time watching his dad compete in the wrestling box. When he was in high school, Dwayne began playing football and he soon received full-time scholarship at the University of Miami, where the student had a tremendous amount of success as an footballer. In 1995, Dwayne suffered a back accident that cost him a spot within the NFL. Then, he signed a three-year agreement for the Canadian League but left after one year in order to pursue a wrestler's career.
