Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo
Lesley Ann Brandt (born December 2nd 1982) is a South African actress, model and TV host. Having started her acting career with her role on the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came with her second role, playing Naevia in the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress was featured on several shows in the past 10 years which included Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Brandt began playing Mazikeen (the character performed by Tom Ellis Lauren German, as well as Kevin Alejandro) in the popular urban fantasy series Lucifer at the beginning of 2016. Brandt was brought up as a child in Cape Town South Africa. In her later teens, she moved together with family members into Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's career started as a fashion model when she appeared in magazine and television ads. She worked as an IT recruiting consultant and also in retail prior to becoming a well-known fashion model. On the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity that she starred in, playing Leilani F'auigaese back in 2009, her first major role was landed. In 2021, she starred in Spartacus Blood and Sand as an unnamed young slave girl Naevia. Naevia's role has also been reprised by her on the Spartacus mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker co-starred in three shows on television: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (1010) and Legend of the Seeker 2008 alongside her. In the year 2016 Mazikeen began her role as a bounty-hunting demon in Netflix's smash hit Lucifer. She has played her most important role up to the present. The show features her co-starring alongside Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
